Forest Utilization Business Licensing (FUBL) area of PT. Ekosistem Wana Lestari II (PT. EWL II) located in Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The certainty of the existence of plant biodiversity in the FUBL area of PT. EWL II, especially protected and rare ones, is not yet known. Therefore, research on plant biodiversity in the area needs to be conducted. This study aims to identify habitat conditions and plant biodiversity in the FUBL area of PT. EWL II, Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The richness of plant species found in the FUBL area of PT. EWL II is 36 species which can be grouped into 17 families. The type of ecosystem with the highest species diversity index is in secondary swamp forest land cover, while the lowest is in shrub land cover. The dominant plant species in the tree habitus in the secondary swamp forest area are as follows: trees are dominated by Belangir (Shorea balangeran Burck.), while poles, stakes and seedlings are dominated by Galam (Melaleuca leucadendron (L.) L.); in the shrub land cover, trees are dominated by Belangir (Shorea balangeran Burck.), poles, stakes and seedlings are dominated by Galam (Melaleuca leucadendron (L.) L.); while in the shrub land cover, trees are dominated by Belangeran (Shorea balangeran Burck.), poles, stakes and seedlings are dominated by Gelam (Melaleuca leucadendron (L.) L.). The plant species with the highest density in the tree habitus in the secondary swamp forest area are as follows: trees, poles, stakes and seedlings are dominated by Gelam (Melaleuca leucadendron (L.) L.); in the shrub land cover, trees are dominated by Belangir (Shorea balangeran Burck.), poles, stakes and seedlings are dominated by Galam (Melaleuca leucadendron (L.) L.); while in the shrub land cover, trees, poles, stakes and seedlings are dominated by Gelam (Melaleuca leucadendron (L.) L.). Based on the results of the flora inventory, it shows that the number of species at the highest growth level of trees, poles, stakes, and seedlings is found in secondary swamp forests. Based on its protection status, in the FUBL area of PT. EWL II, no protected plant species were found according to the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry No. P.106 of 2018; however, 2 plant species were found that are included in the CITES Appendix II List, 1 plant species included VU/Vulnerable, and 1 plant species included EN/Endangered according to IUCN.
