Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Regarding the Pesticide Use of Durian Farmers in Surat Thani Province | ความรู้ ทัศนคติ และการปฏิบัติในการใช้สารกำจัดศัตรูพืชของเกษตรกรผู้ปลูกทุเรียน ใน จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี

إنجليزي. The objectives of this research were to study the knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding the use of pesticides and to analyze the relationships between knowledge, attitude, and practice in using pesticides. Data were collected using a survey of 262 durian farmers in Surat Thani Province. The statistics used in the analysis were 1) Descriptive statistics which include frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and 2) Pearson’s Correlation analysis. The results of this study found that the vast majority of farmers had a high level of knowledge about the use of pesticides, representing 88.93 percent of the total sample size. The overall attitudes of the farmers regarding the use of pesticides were at a good level (=4.00). Nevertheless, the overall practice score regarding the use of pesticides was considered moderate (=1.78). In terms of relationships, it was found that knowledge and attitude about pesticide usage were positively correlated with practice related to pesticide use at the 0.05 level of significance. Therefore, to ensure a correct and safe practice among durian farmers in the foreseeable future, the provision of knowledge along with development of a positive attitude toward the use of pesticides should be promoted

التايلاندية. การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความรู้ ทัศนคติ และการปฏิบัติในการใช้สารกำจัดศัตรูพืช และวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ ระหว่างความรู้ ทัศนคติ และการปฏิบัติในการใช้สารกำจัดศัตรูพืช เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสำรวจเกษตรกรผู้ปลูกทุเรียนในจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี จำนวน 262 ราย สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ ได้แก่ 1) สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ 2) การวิเคราะห์ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์เพียร์สัน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า เกษตรกรเกือบทั้งหมดมีความรู้เกี่ยวกับการใช้สารกำจัดศัตรูพืชในระดับสูง คิดเป็นร้อยละ 88.93 จากจำนวนกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งหมด เกษตรกรมีทัศนคติเกี่ยวการใช้สารกำจัดศัตรูพืชอยู่ในระดับดี (ค่าเฉลี่ย 4.00) แต่ยังมีการปฏิบัติเกี่ยวกับการใช้สารกำจัดศัตรูพืชอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (ค่าเฉลี่ย 1.78) ในแง่ของความสัมพันธ์พบว่า ความรู้และทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับการใช้สารกำจัดศัตรูพืชมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกกับการปฏิบัติในการใช้สารกำจัดศัตรูพืชอย่างถูกต้อง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ดังนั้นควรมีการส่งเสริม เรื่องการให้องค์ความรู้ การสร้างทัศนคติที่ดีเกี่ยวกับการใช้สารกำจัดศัตรูพืช เพื่อนำไปสู่การปฏิบัติที่ถูกต้องปลอดภัยต่อไป
