Plant regeneration of five cultivars of Phaseolus vulgaris L. via organogenesis | Regeneración de plantas de cinco variedades de Phaseolus vulgaris L. vía organogénesis directa

إنجليزي. The beans are an important source for human consumption in Cuba due their protein content. For this reason; the search for cultivars with greater potential is a prominent challenge in this specie. Tissue culture in Phaseolus vulgaris L. is very difficult, among other things, due to its genotype-dependent condition. The aim of this study was to evaluate the regeneration of plants via direct organogenesis in five genotypes of P. vulgaris. The genotypes studied were `ICA Pijao', `BAT 93', `BAT 482', `BAT 304' and `CIAP7247F'. The investigation showed that genotypes `BAT 304' and `Pijao ICA' had the highest values of explants with multiple buds induction. In the variable number of multiple buds per explant, the highest values were obtained in `CIAP7247F' and `BAT 482' genotypes. In `BAT 93' callus formation was so profuse that reduced the number of explants with buds induced. Plant regeneration was another variable that differed in the genotypes studied. `CIAP7247F' showed the greater number of shoots per explant while genotypes that showed the lowest values were `BAT 304' and `BAT 93'. The effect of the variety in this species was shown during the tissues culture process.  Keywords: beans, in vitro culture, multiple buds.

الأسبانية؛ قشتالية. Por su contenido proteico el frijol en Cuba constituye una importante fuente para la alimentación humana. Por ello, la búsqueda de cultivares con mayores potencialidades es un reto eminente en esta especie. El cultivo de tejidos en Phaseolus vulgaris L., resulta muy difícil causado entre otros factores por su condición variedad dependiente. El objetivo de la presente investigación fue regenerar plantas vía organogénesis directa en cinco cultivares de P. vulgaris. Las variedades estudiados fueron: `ICA Pijao', `BAT 93', `BAT 482', `BAT 304' y `CIAP7247F'. Se observó que `BAT 304' e `ICA Pijao' tuvieron los mayores valores de número de explantes con inducción de yemas múltiples. Los mayores valores en el número de yemas múltiples por explante se obtuvieron en los cultivares `CIAP7247F' y `BAT 482'. En la `BAT 93' la formación de yemas múltiples fue muy profusa lo que atentó contra el número de explantes con brotes inducidos.La variedad `CIAP7247F' fue la que presentó el mayor número de brotes por explante mientras que las variedades que mostraron los menores valores fueron `BAT 304' y `BAT 93'. Se constató el efecto de la variedad en esta especie durante todo el proceso del cultivo de tejidos.  Palabras clave: callus formations, cultivo in vitro, frijol, yemas múltiples.
