Depth comparison of Minimum Tillage and No Till with and without earthworm humus on the carrot cultivation | Comparación de profundidades de Labranza Reducida y Siembra Directa con y sin humus de lombriz en el cultivo de la zanahoria

The soil is the fundamental bed of the plants, in its handling, the basic purpose is its conservation and it improves of its properties especially the physical ones; across the minimum tillage, to increase the yields in the cultivation. The cultivation of the vegetables is a basic source for the food securit y of the societ y; between them the car rot is much longed; needing between them of 25 to of depth in the soil preparation. Constituting the organic matter an important source in the nutrition of this cultivation. The study included three depths of vertical far ming (No Till, removal of the soil to 20 cm of depth and removal to 30 cm) with and without ear thwor m humus; distributed in a block at random. The results reflect that the yields of the fr uit, without difference between, have the following descending order: depth to 30 cm, depth to 20 cm and No Till. The organic matter not influence in the yield. The most economic and less aggressive No Till for the soil.

El suelo es el lecho fundamental de las plantas, en su manejo, la finalidad básica es su conser vación y mejora de sus propiedades especialmente las físicas a través del laboreo reducido, para aumentar los rendimientos en los cultivos. El cultivo de las hortalizas es una fuente básica para la seguridad alimentaría de la sociedad, siendo la zanahoria muy apetecida; requiriendo de 25 a 30 cm de profundidad en la preparación de suelo. Constit uyendo la materia orgánica (MO) una fuente impor tante en la nutrición de este cultivo. El est udio incluyó tres profundidades de labranza vertical (Siembra Directa ó de Asiento (SD), remoción del suelo a 20 cm de profundidad y remoción a 30 cm) con y sin humus de lombriz; distribuidos en un bloque al azar. Los resultados reflejan que los rendimientos del fr uto, difieren ent re sí, tienen el siguiente orden descendente: profundidad a 30 cm, 20 cm y Siembra Directa la materia orgánica no influyó en los rendimientos. La Siembra Directa la más económica y menos agresiva para el suelo.
