Evaluation physicochemical and agricultural yield of sorghum varieties | Evaluación físico-química y agroindustrial de variedades de sorgo

إنجليزي. Five of sorghum varieties evaluation (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) corresponded to: ISIAP- Dorado, ISIAP-Mejorado, Prodigioso, LD-24 y Línea-3; The grain size, weight of 1000 grains, kg/hL, protein, starch, fiber, fat, agricultural yield and flour yield (integral and purified) were analyzed. All the varieties of sorghum grains had a similar size (from 4.0 to 4.5 mm). The highest weight of 1000 grains and mass for hectoliter were achieved in the varieties LD- 24 and ISIAP-Mejorado with 29.2 and 30.3 g and 79 and 80 kg/hL respectively. The protein content was significantly better in the varieties: ISIAP-Dorado (12.4%), ISIAP-Mejorado (12.6%) and LD-24 (12.8%); being these last two those of more content of starch (65.4 and 65.2% respectively). There were no significant differences as for fiber content (9.5-9.7%) and fat content (3.3-3.6%). The agricultural yield was significantly highest in the varieties LD-24 (3.8 t/ha) and ISIAP-Mejorado (4.0 t/ha). The yields in integral flour (98.1-98.8%) were similar in all the varieties; while ISIAP-Mejorado (70.2%) and LD-24 (70.5%) threw the best yields in purified flour.

الأسبانية؛ قشتالية. Se evaluaron cinco variedades de sorgo (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) que fueron: ISIAP- Dorado, ISIAP-Mejorado, Prodigioso, LD-24 y Línea-3. Se determinó: tamaño del grano, masa de 1000 granos, masa por hectolitro, proteína, almidón, fibra, grasa, rendimiento agrícola, rendimiento en harina integral y purificada. Los granos de las diferentes variedades tuvieron un tamaño similar (de 4,0 a 4,5 mm). Los valores más altos de masa de 1000 granos y masa por hectolitro se alcanzaron en la LD-24 e ISIAP-Mejorado (29,2 y 30,3 g y 79 y 80 kg/hL respectivamente). El contenido de proteína fue significativamente mejor en las variedades ISIAP-dorado (12,4 %), ISIAP-mejorado (12,6 %) y LD-24 (12,8 %); siendo estos dos últimos los de mayor contenido de almidón (65,4 y 65,2 % respectivamente). No hubo diferencias significativas en cuanto a contenido de fibra (9,5-9,7 %) y grasa (3,3-3,6 %). El rendimiento agrícola fue significativamente más alto en las variedades LD-24 (3,8 t/ha) e ISIAP-Mejorado (4,0 t/ha). No hubo diferencias en los rendimientos en harina integral (98,1 a 98,8 %) mientras que los mejores rendimientos en harina purificada.se obtuvieron en el ISIAP-Mejorado (70,2 %) y LD-24 (70,5 %).
