Sintonia da informação sobre as preferências dos consumidores de carne bovina entre os agentes da cadeia de produção no Distrito Federal | Syntony of the information about the preferences of the consumers of bovine meat among the agents of the production chain in Federal District

The studies on agribusiness are based in a systemic dimension, seeking to understanding the relationship among agents and the search for greater efficiency among or intra-chains. For such purpose, understanding the several flows concealed in the agri-food networks (and in their chains) has become necessary: flows of materials and products, capital flows, flows of information. The flow of the information, as object of this study, is generated in primary sources (consumers), positioned at the end of the production chain, and it “flows” through channels, reaching all the points that determine strategic interests in the chain. In its course, it undergoes changes (noises) starting at the moment it is decoded by secondary sources. Using such elements, this present work reached for information tuning regarding the consumers’ preferences on the product, the consumption habits and the places of purchase of bovine meat in the Federal District (Brasilia) for retail agents and processors. In a qualitative approach, semi-structured interviews with representatives of the sections of the production chain were made, about previously collected and analyzed information on the consumers, and on their preferences through a survey. The results showed a high tuning level between industry and supermarkets, and a reduced tuning level among retailers.

Os estudos sobre o agronegócio fundamentam-se numa dimensão sistêmica, buscando entender o relacionamento entre agentes e a busca de maior eficiência entre ou intracadeias. Para tanto, torna-se necessária a compreensão dos diversos fluxos que, no Sistema Agroindustrial (e em suas cadeias), se encerra: fluxos de materiais e produtos, fluxos de capital e fluxos de informação. O fluxo da informação, como objeto deste estudo, é gerado em fontes primárias (consumidores), posicionadas à jusante da cadeia de produção, e “flui” por meio de canais, atingindo todos os pontos que determinam interesses estratégicos dentro da cadeia. Em seu percurso, sofre transformações (ruídos) a partir do momento em que é decodificada por fontes secundárias. Utilizando estes elementos, com o presente trabalho, buscou-se identificar a presença de ruído na informação e o grau de sintonia entre os setores e segmentos da cadeia de produção da carne bovina no Distrito Federal. Numa abordagem qualitativa, foram feitas entrevistas semi-estruturadas com representantes dos setores à montante da cadeia de produção, a respeito de informações previamente colhidas e analisadas dos consumidores, sobre suas preferências – por meio de um survey. Pelos resultados, verificou-se uma alta sintonia por parte da indústria e supermercados, e uma reduzida sintonia dos varejistas “precistas”.
