The value of a variety as of important element in the technology of growing is considered. Productivity formation of seeds of vegetable varieties depending on the agrotechnological methods of growing is grounded. Influence of matrix quality diversity of seeds and its sowing qualities are established. Agromeasures are developed to eliminate matrix quality diversity of seeds for vegetable crops to improve its sowing qualities.

It is presented the description of garden pea new varieties which are included into the State Register of plant varieties, which are suitable for the dissemination in Ukraine in 2008 year, morphological features of the crop and its value, either food or dietetic plant.

According to the seed quality indices the soft winter wheat seeds quality which were included in to the State Register of ріалі varieties of Ukraine in 2008 was defined (consistence of the albumen, flour s-rength. bread size). In the steppe area the consistence of albumen in seed was not changed. In the forest-steppe area seed quality markers improved and drew near the seed quality markers of the steppe area. More then 80% of wheat varieties, produced by Ukrainian breeders are considered to be strong and valuable by the seed quality verse 19,4 % of foreign varieties. That means that the varieties of the Ukrainian breeding are competitive.

Possibility of heterosis effect approbation by using synthetic varieties of winter rye was discussed. Heterosis level of first five generation of rye synthetics did not decrease. Considerable yield decrease of winter rye grain took place in later generations. Concept of synthetic varieties of winter wheat creation in Ukraine is prospective, though it requires scientific, economical and legal improvement.

Crop capacity and productivity elements of winter wheat domestic sorts have been investigated. Valuable sources on the basis of given characteristics for getting selective material of high quality have been singled out. Correlation relations between crop capacity and productivity elements of winter wheat sorts have been established.

Authors of the article attempts to describe a state of the problem and accumulated achievements in the flax industry, which are in conjunction with one of the main agronomic remedies, namely fertilization and its influence on the quality of obtained products.

Results of the spring wheat of different ecotype variety samples research by economical and biological feature have been reflected, and more valuable samples, which we have used during the breeding with the aim of new varieties creation, have been selected

The untypical weather conditions during the extrema drought in 1993- 1994 have been described. Regularities of the accumulation and spending of the dry substance in leaves of varieties, signi ficantly different in productivity, weke considered depending on weather conditions.

The study of vernalization requierement of winter bread wheat 87 modem varieties from Ukraine and Russia showed significant domination - 81.6% - of varieties with short vernalization requierement (30-40 days). Vernalization requierement differences among varieties from different climatic zones were revealed.

Analysis of the existing methods for earliness group determination of maize varieties and hybrids according to the FAO indices was conducted. Influence of the abiotic factors on earliness of 16 standard maize hybrids in all agroclimatic zones of Ukraine at nine State Canters for Plant Variety Examination and State Variety Testing Stations during 1999-2006 was analyzed. On the base of the research results, a new method of earliness group determination for varieties (hybrids) of maize without comparison with the standard hybrids has been developed.
