Pomological and biochemical peculiarities of cherry-plum varieties fruits (Prunus cerasifera Ehrh.), belonged to different subspecies of family Prunus L

The pomological characteristic of three cherry-plum varieties belonged to different subspecies has been given. The prevailing aromatic components and general chemical content of their fruits have been analyzed. The peculiarities of accumulation of essential compounds in tissue with high anthocyanin content (‘Krasnomyasaya’) in comparison with varieties with yellow flesh (‘Nikitskaya Yellow’ and ‘Lyusha Yellow’) have been shown.

It is concluded by investigations that wheat crossing of various development types between themselves cause increase of formbuilding process in hybrid progeny, promoting the selection of practically valuable recombinats. The genotypes which present the practical valuable by complex of adaptive traits and properties have been selected by phenotype stability in the breeding process. The new bread winter wheat variety Pamyati Remesla developed with participation of spring wheat variety Hja 22139 (Finland) has been proposed for including it into the Register of Plant varieties of Ukraine adapted for use in Steppe, Forest- Steppe and Woodland of Ukraine since 2010.

Results of studying of influence of sowing terms on productivity and indices of quality of grain of winter bread wheat variety-innovations of V.M. Remeslo Myronivka Institute of Wheat of NAAS of Ukraine in the conditions of Right-bank Forest-steppe are shown. Negative correlation of productivity of varieties on average temperature of air during the sowing period is shown.

The conditions for creating active collection of genetic material of sugar beets and coffee chicory by using the method of temperature limitations for in vitro culture are defined. It is proved that the temperature rate in culture rooms at 10 degrees Celsius ensures storing of sugar beets for ten months and chicory for eight months without transplanting.

The article describes summary of the researches, characteristics of morphological and agro-biological characteristics and features, a note is made of a significant progress in the selection of productivity and adaptability of registered Durum Winter Wheat Varieties of new crops rotation. Significant developments of plants architectonic are marked, especially in height, characteristics of economical value, and in terms of considerable achievements in breeding of this kind of wheat. A stress in made on the need to enhance Durum Winter Wheat breeding to develop more frostresistant and drought-overheat resistant varieties.

By means of directed selection during 39 generations of Rye plants bearing the highest expression of short stem in combination with largest size of grain, a donor of dominant short stem and recessive complimentary or epistatic large size grain has been obtained. Dependence of Rye grain size on two complimentary or independent alleles of genes in homozygote state, namely lg (large grain) and tg (thick grain) has been first time reported. Short stem and recessive grain size donor is homozygotic by the characteristic “Short upper internode”, albeit hybridologic analyzes on dominance-recessivity has not been performed. Correlative analyzes to breeding purposes is only applicable to perform by determining relations between characteristics in generations. In order to process the breeding strategy phenotype and genotype variability shall be assessed in the source material, as well as coefficients of multiple and pair correlation of desired breeding characteristics. On the base of parameter indexes to develop plans of selections and directed crossings with predicting the disjointing results in the next and subsequent generations of hybrids and determine strategy and tactic of for the development of desired characteristics in breading. This is the only way from the art to the science.
