2003
Djuraskovic, P. (Hidrometeoroloski zavod Crne Gore, Podgorica (Serbia and Montenegro)) | Kojovic, A. | Vujovic, A. | Filipovic, S.
The paper gives the contribute to analyses of the problem of Crnojevica river (Montenegro, Serbia&Montenegro) water pollution. The analyze surround measurement the next parameters: pH, conductivity, oxygen balance, sanitary parameters, content of different form of phosphorus. These measurements are carried out over five sampling series, at the seven stations, including underground flow rate in the Obod cave. Our estimations are confirmed the continuity of the Crnojevica river pollution, by municipality and strain water from Cetinje urban area. Nutrients, especially phosphates, from the pollution emission, attend conditions (together with many natural factors) for production biomass quantity. The opposite processes, the inhibition processes, exist. Phosphorus in the water attends increase level of the water pollution (over increase eutrophication degree), so the water is out of the legal class, because its usage is limited.
اظهر المزيد [+] اقل [-]Oil pollution and microbiological characterization of hydraulic barrier ground water as measures of water source protection
2003
Petrovic, O. (Prirodno-matematicki fakultet, Novi Sad (Serbia and Montenegro). Departman za biologiju i ekologiju) | Simeunovic, J. | Agbaba, J. | Ivancev-Tumbas, I.
As a consequence of bombing of Novi Sad Oil Refinery, Serbia (Serbia&Montenegro), the spillage of large amounts of oil and derivatives caused hydrocarbons pollution of the area surrounding the Refinery and the river Danube, thus directly endangering the entire water source "Ratno ostro". As a measure of protection in the division zone of the Refinery and the water source area, a hydraulic barrier was constructed. Within the process of monitoring piezometer water quality and the water supplied by protection system wells, microbiological analyses of water were carried out with the aim of supervising the barrier functioning. The results have shown that bacterial populations in polluted areas exhibit a duel role: they act as bioindicators of a certain pollution, but at the same time they take part in the process of selfpurification.

2003
Topuzovic, M. | Pavlovic, D. (Prirodno-matematicki fakultet, Kragujevac (Serbia and Montenegro). Institut za biologiju)
The paper presents results of research on hydrophilic flora of the Grosnica reservoir in the Kragujevac basin (Serbia, Serbia&Montenegro). The obtained results confirm that the development of hydrophilic vegetation is dependent on the time, manner, and place of reservoir formation, as well as on the extent of human influence. Analysis of floristic composition of hydrophilic plants of this reservoir indicates presence of 30 species belonging to 20 families. Floristic composition of the hydrophilic flora with flora elements, life forms and ecological factors are presents.

2003
Talevska, M. (Hidrobioloski zavod, Ohrid (The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia))
In this paper are presented the investigation of macrophytic vegetation along Macedonian shore of Lake Ohrid (Radozda-Sv.Naum). The meterial were collected from 59 localities. The results of investigations show that in investigated localities were evidenced 25 different plant species. The number of macrophytic species in different localities vary from 2 to 18 macrophytic species. The differences in the number of macrophyte species are most due to the different ecological conditions in the investigated localities: temperature, light regime, type of soil, configuration of the lake bottom, water level, nutrient amount etc.

2003
Obradovic, V. | Janac, M. (Institut za vodoprivredu "Jaroslav Cerni", Beograd (Serbia and Montenegro))
In the period October 2001 through November 2002 in six series parallely with physico-chemical and hydrobiological analyses, the content of photosynthetic pigments was determined in algae in the region of flow-through reservoirs of "Djerdap 1" and "Djerdap 2" on the profiles of Smederevo, Ram, Veliko Gradista, Donji Milanovac, Tekija, Kladovo and Radujevac. The samples were taken by a pump from the river midstream at the depth of 1-0 m (composite sample), while in the vegetation period April, June and September, the samples were taken at the depth of 5 m. The peak concentration of chlorophyll-a, the biological indicator of trophic condition, was recorded in the month of April in the Smederevo profile (30.2 mg/cubic meter) at the depth of 1-0 m. The lowest values of chlorophyll-a in all studied cycles were recorded in the Radujevac profile (below the dams) with the mean annual value of 1.8 mg/cubic meter. Chlorophyll-c occurs as the subdominant photosynthetic pigment. Values of chlorophyll-c were higher than chlorophyll-a in the month of June on the Donji Milanovac profile in the analysed sample taken at the depth of 5 m. Higher values of chlorophyll-b were recorded in the course of the vegetation period in the month of June on the profiles of Smederevo, Ram, Veliko Gradiste and Donji Milanovac at the depth of 1-0 m.

2003
Nikic, Z. (Univerzitet u Beogradu, Beograd (Serbia and Montenegro). Sumarski fakultet)
The fenced hunting area "Crni Lug" near Progar (Serbia, Serbia&Montenegro), included swamp tracts that have been drying. A natural environment of free game has changed over the last fifteen years. The unfavourable hydrological trend is explained by the antropogenic factor active in the hunting area and beyond it. The prevailing hydrogeological situation is interpreted and steps for rehabilitation of marshes are recommended. One of the emphsized goals is the supply of good water for animals throughout the year. Favourable hydrogeology and construction of adequate facilities in the hunting area will suffice for the revival of all activities related to water: flood control, agriculture, water supply, and hunting as a particularly profitable activity.

2003
Vukanic, V. (Institut za biologiju mora, Kotor (Serbia and Montenegro))
During the analyses of zooplankton and hydrography samples from continuous field research in monthly series during 2002 on three shallow stations (Orahovac, Morinj and near the Institute) and 4 central stations in Boka Kotorska Bay (Adriatic sea, Montenegro (Serbia&Montenegro)), exceptionally dense populations of Penilia avirostris were observed. Presence of this species in refreshed waters during the summer in other parts of Adriatic and Mediterranean, and its designation as an indicator, are reasons for presentation of these gathered results from yearly cycle in Boka Kotorska Bay.

2003
Stojanovski, S. (Hidrobioloski zavod, Ohrid (The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia)) | Hristovski, N. | Cakic, P. | Hristovski, M. | Nastova-Aleksova, R.
During the parasitological investigations on the gills of 3 cyprinid species from Lake Dojran (the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia), are found 4 monogenean species: in Rutilus rutilus dojranensis are found Dactylogyrus similis and Dactylogyrus suecicus, in Scardinius erythrophthalmus dojranensis is found Dactylogyrus difformis, and in Alburnus alburnus macedonicus is found Ligophorus sp. Prevalence in Rutilus alburnus dojranensis is 40.46%, in Scardinius erythrophthalmus dojranensis is 55.56%, and in Alburnus alburnus macedonicus is the lowest and amounts 2.02%. All monogenean species represents the first record for parasitic fauna of fish species in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Finding of Ligophorus sp. in the fishes of the family Cyprinidae is new to science generally.
