2018
chaouqi, nora | EL GHAROUS, M. | Bouzziri, M.
The analyzes show that the majority of soils are between neutral (6.5 <OS10, OS11 ≤ 7) and alkaline (7 <OQ3, AL5, S6,7 ≤ 7.5), with 1/7 considered as very acidic soil (SA19 <5.5). For humidity measurement, OS10 & OS11 are the most humid. For the NO3- concentration, it decreases from Oued Quibane to Had Lghoualem (17.8 ppm). The soils of this study have a low C/N factor between 1 and 6. The results also showed that the soils have a relatively low average OM level. Soils do not indicate a salinity value (EC < 250 μS/cm) with the exception of S7 and OQ3 (250 <EC (25 °C) <750 μS /cm). Soils marked a dominance of P-Ca, the results discussed in this document indicate a probable difficulty to constitute reserves of P able to be directly up taken by crops.

2018
HARNANE, YAMINA | BOUZID, SIHEM | BRIMA, ABDELHAFIDH
In this numerical study two configurations are considered, the first configuration in natural convection corresponds to a closed cavity equipped with a heating bar and the second mixed configuration corresponds to the same cavity but ventilated. The flow is turbulent (GrH = 1,2.108), a choice of model is very important. The turbulence model chosen for natural convection is the low-Reynolds k-ε model. A comparison of the turbulence models led us to choose the RNG k-ε model for mixed convection study, because it is the suitable model for flows in ventilated cavities as well as flows with recirculation. Ventilation effect on natural flow has been studied by analyzing flow dynamic and thermal structure. Nusselt average number on each bar face is found to be improved by jet injection into the ventilated cavity, from about 50% to 60%. This comparison reveals the different velocities influence of the incoming air jet on the confined cavity flow structure, or this jet succeeds in breaking the single-cell flow of natural convection case into a multicellular flow for the other case of mixed convection at high velocities above the heating bar, of which it is the main purpose of this study.

2018
Boukhris, B. | Mediouni, Moahmed | Elmahni, L.
Our research consists in studying the pre-feasibility of a hybrid PV / H2 hydrogen PV system for a remote residential area located at GPS coordinates (30.203584, -9.425989) in the south of Morocco. We are in a situation of solar energy prediction in order to integrate it into the Microgrid and, subsequently, to establish an evaluation of the electricity storage potential in the form of hydrogen produced by an electrolyser. Several technical studies are now being conducted on each of the components of our system that includes a PV electrolyser and a fuel cell. The electrolyser produces hydrogen from the excess energy provided by the PV. When the need for the charges exceeds the PV output, the fuel cell consumes the hydrogen gas to provide additional energy. The proposed Microgrid will constitute a reference and a decision tool for optimal sizing of its subsystems. To compensate for the investment risk resulting from a gap between prediction and actual operation, further study is to be expected taking into account two criteria: the cost of kWh and energy efficiency.

A new acridinic derivative has been synthetized in order to assist the sucralose electrochemical determination. The mathematical model, correspondent to the electroanalytical process, has been developed and analyzed by means of linear stability theory and bifurcation analysis. It was shown that the 9-saccharinoacridine may serve as a modifier for sucralose electrochemical detection in neutral solutions, participating in the electroanalytical process as an immobilization substrate and as a mediator. The electroanalytical process is diffusion-controlled. The possibility of oscillatory and monotonic instabilities has also been verified.

Generally, grafting alkylated chains onto cellulose backbone modifies its physicochemical properties strongly, and the variation in the hydrophobicity of the cellulose causes significant modifications of these superficial characteristics. In this sense, this study highlighted the effect of the hydrophobicity-hydrophilic balance brought by the level of grafting chains on the surface tension, and relationship between the surface tension measurements and the solubility parameters of activated surface. The results obtained from FTIR and 13C NMR analysis confirmed the molecular structure of acetylated compounds with substitution occurring preferably at C-6, C-2 and C-3 hydroxyl positions, respectively. The surface active properties were investigated by the density of elaborated polymers and its relationship with the Parachors based on the Group Contribution Method. This study may help to increase the using natural and biodegradable fibers as surface-activity industrial materials. The calculations of Parachors (P) and densities of cellulose acetates samples (CA) at different substitution degree (DS) make to find a new relationship between the surface tension and the DS. These equations show that the surface tension variation depending on DS can be linearly or polynomial which explains that the surface tension of the cellulose acetate is highly depends on its DS

The possibility of fumigatin-assisted benzodiazepines electrochemical determination has been evaluated theoretically. The correspondent mathematical model has been evaluated by means of the theories of linear stability and bifurcations. It was shown that the fumigatin may serve as an efficient electrode modifier for benzodiazepines´ electrochemical determination. The oscillatory behavior is more probable than for similar systems, due to the presence of more than one electrochemical stages in the electroanalytical process.

2018
lahot, priyanka | Tiwari, DP
Adsorption studies were carried out on used Battery Cell carbon for removal of Pb and Cd metal ions at different temperatures i.e. 35°C, 45°C and 55°C. Adsorption isotherms were studied at three temperatures and experimental data well fitted to Temkin adsorption isotherm model rather than Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm. Different models of kinetic were studied but best fitted by Pseudo second order, Bangham, Intraparticle diffusion and Elovich models at 35°C and 45°C temperatures. Adsorption effect of metal ions also analyzed by pH study at room temperature. Characterization of sample by technique BET and XRD. BET surface area was found 11.519m2/g and adsorption-desorption isotherm was monolayer-multilayer type.

Heavy metals are present in liquid effluents due to different industrial activities. Their presence in high concentrations constitutes an embarrassment for receiving environments, and strongly impacts water resources which, in a context of scarcity and climate change that exacerbates it, must be protected and safeguarded. This has prompted the implementation of numerous remedial measures, such as reducing the quantities of raw materials used, and curatives measures in order to reduce the nuisance. The object of this work is the removal of nickel from the effluent of an electroplating unit by precipitation with sodium hydroxide. The expected aim is firstly to minimize metallic pollution in order to discharge treated waste to meet the standards for indirect discharges into the municipal sewerage network or to reuse them in the industrial unit for other needs such as washing the workshops, washing the aerosol-filled air in the varnishing workshop, etc., and on the other hand, adding value to the precipitate in other industrial sectors. The tests were carried out in a batch reactor on industrial effluent solutions. They gave a nickel removal efficiency about 100%. The sludge resulting from the precipitation has been characterized by X-ray diffractometry. It consist essentially of nickel hydroxide II, in the form of β-Ni(OH)2 structure.
