Comparative assessment of the varieties of winter triticale in the arid zone of the Northern Precaspian | Сравнительная оценка сортов озимой тритикале в аридной зоне Северного Прикаспия

English. The difficult nature of the environmental conditions of the territory of the Northern Caspian, leads to a strong variability of indicators of the yield of winter crops, which indicates the need to introduce into the production of promising high-yielding and adapted varieties that would withstand the harsh, sharply contact climate of the region. Therefore, the study of a wide set of varieties of winter crops in the dynamics of years in terms of productivity and adaptive ability is relevant. Studies took place on the experimental fields of the Precaspian Agrarian Federal Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2021-2024. The object of research was eight varieties of winter triticale – Arioso (standard), Forte, Knyaz, Zhnets, Tribune, Mamuchar, Valentine 90, Zimogor. To analyze the indicators of the adaptive capabilities of varieties (environmental plasticity coefficient, stress resistance, genetic flexibility, homeostatic, selection value), S.A. Eberhart and W.A. Russell in the presentation of V.Z. Pakudin, A. A. Rossiel and J. Hemblin in the presentation of A.A. Goncharenko, V.V. Hangildin, L.A. Zhivotkova. During the research years, the environmental conditions varied from –1.03 (2022) to 1.64 (2023). The average yield of varieties over four years was 3.13 t/ha, the maximum indicators were noted in a wet 2023 year (3.11–5.80 t/ha), the minimum – in the an insufficiently wet 2022 year  (1.58-2.45 t/ha). It was established that the meteorological conditions of the growing season (74.6%), the genotype of varieties (15.4 %)  had a prevailing effect on the productivity indicator. Based on the results of a comprehensive assessment of the parameters of adaptive potential using the ranking system, Valentine 90, Zimogor and Zhnets varieties  were allocated (sums of ranks 37, 37 and 42, respectively). These varieties can be of great interest for agricultural producers of the arid territories of the Northern Precaspian, as they   form a stably high grain crop for any extreme weather conditions (from 2.31 to 5.65 t/ha).

Сложный характер экологических условий территории Северного Прикаспия приводит к сильной изменчивости показателей урожайности озимых зерновых культур, что свидетельствует о  необходимости внедрения в производство перспективных высокоурожайных и адаптированных к внешней среде сортов, которые выдерживали бы суровый резко континентальный климат региона. Поэтому изучение широкого набора сортов озимых зерновых культур в динамике лет по урожайности и адаптивной способности является актуальным. Исследования проходили на опытных полях Прикаспийского аграрного федерального научного центра РАН в 2021–2024 гг. Объектом исследований  служили восемь сортов озимой тритикале – Ариозо (стандарт), Форте, Князь, Жнец, Трибун, Мамучар, Валентин 90, Зимогор. Для анализа показателей адаптационных возможностей сортов (коэффициент экологической пластичности, стрессоустойчивость, генетическая гибкость, гомеостатичность, селекционная ценность) применяли методики S.A. Eberhart и W.A. Russell в изложении В.З. Пакудина, А. А. Rossiel и J. Hemblin в изложении А.А. Гончаренко, В.В. Хангильдина, Л.А. Животкова. В годы исследований индекс условий среды варьировал от –1,03 (2022 г.) до 1,64 (2023 г.). Средняя урожайность сортов в опыте за четыре года составила 3,13 т/га, максимальные показатели отмечены в благоприятном по степени увлажнения 2023 г. (3,11–5,80 т/га), минимальные – в лимитированном 2022 г. (1,58–2,45 т/га). Установлено, что на показатель урожайности преобладающее влияние оказывали метеорологические условия вегетации (74,6%), генотип сортов (15,4 %). По результатам комплексной оценки параметров адаптивного потенциала с использованием системы ранжирования выделены сорта Валентин 90, Зимогор и Жнец  (сумма рангов 37, 37 и 42, соответственно). Эти сорта могут представлять большой интерес для сельхозтоваропроизводителей аридных территорий Северного Прикаспия, т.к. способны формировать стабильно высокий урожай зерна при  любых экстремальных метеоусловиях (от 2,31 до 5,65 т/га).
