The work carried out research methodological foundations of education folk singing vocal skills in the context of Ukrainian folklore. The study Ukrainian folk engaged in a large number of art critics, primarily F. Kolessa, S.Hrytsа, M.Hay. Some issues of training performers of folk songs in the works studied D.Yevtushenko, Z.Zhyhal, E.Taynel, Ye.Hekalo, S.Scherbynina. The mod- ern artist should be versatile educated man, musically and artistically literate, deep- ly understand the development of folklore and folk art.
