Russian. В работе представлены сведения о численности и биологии черного коршуна, рассматриваются также вероятные пути его миграции. Наиболее обычен он в степи и в тех местах, где естественный ландшафт чередуется с сельхозугодиями. Лесополосы и обилие корма создают оптимальные условия для размножения вида. Намного больше чѐрного коршуна стало в селитебных ландшафтах, особенно в окрестностях населенных пунктов (60 и более особей/км2). Высокая численность птиц, образование концентраций вблизи животноводческих комплексов, в местах свалок бытового мусора у населенных пунктов определяют необходимость мониторинга за клиническим состоянием птиц в районах выделения положительных проб на вирусы гриппа А.

English. Information about the abundance and biology of black kite and also possible ways of its migration is presented in this paper. It is most common in the steppe and in places where the natural landscape alternates with farmland. Forest belts and food abundance create optimal conditions for the reproduction of the species. Black kite became on the much larger in residential landscapes, especially in the vicinity of settlements (60 or more individuals / km2). The high population of birds, the formation of concentrations near the cattle-breeding complexes, places of landfills of household waste from the population determine the necessity for monitoring of the clinical condition of the birds in the areas of positive samples isolation for influenza A virus.
