rural territories are territories in which economic activity is conducted mainly in the form of rural production, hunting, fishery, etc. Other aspect which allows giving more correct understanding of rural territories is the regional system. Rural territories act as an element, structure of regional system. But at the same time, urban areas also are a part of regional systems. Therefore, it is important to know what is a place of rural territories in regional system.
