the article discusses various aspects of agricultural enterprise reforming and developing. The authors propose to group agricultural enterprises according to efficiency of management of the reform project. The authors identify enterprises with "high needs and low potential" and enterprises with "low needs and high potential." The first type of organizations depends on its own obligations, insufficient working capital to ensure the priority of payments. These factors may hinder the implementation of the reform project. The second type of organizations is resistant to current liabilities, as their value does not affect their ability to pay. The authors recommend that enterprises of the first group to raise additional borrowings to meet their obligations, to use preferential tax treatment and installment payments to contractors. The authors recommend the enterprises of the second group to strengthen leadership position in the industry, to expand production on existing investment opportunities, implement an active marketing strategy. The study's findings are confirmed by the data of agricultural enterprises functioning in Moscow region. The results of this study can be used in the activities of agricultural enterprises, as well as the methodological basis in the process of further scientific development of problems of reforming of agricultural enterprises.
