Some biological parameters (development period, adult longevity, sex ratio, preoviposition, oviposition, and post oviposition periods, daily and the total number of eggs, hatching ratio and time) of Planococcus citri Risso (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) studied on 4 different host plants (Citrussinensis L., Citrus limon L., PunicagranatumL., Solanumtuberasum L.ve CucurbitamoschataDuchesne) and 3 different temperatures (20±1°C, 25±1°C ve 30±1°C) and %60-65 relative humidity in climate cabinets. The longest preadults period of P.citri was found on pomegranate at all temperatures, the shortest one was determined on Cucurbita moschata Duchesne. The most suitable temperature for the biology of this pest was determined as 25±1°C. In addition, the lowest number of eggs was recorded on Punica granatum, the highest one was found on Cucurbita moschata Duchesne. These obtained biological parameters in this study revealed that this pest showed significant biological differences in terms of different host plants and temperatures.
