English. The paper presents the results of studying the growth and development rates of various forms and varieties of Ocimum basilicum L, which depend on the growing conditions and biological features of the plant. Presowing seed treatment of the studied basil samples increases their germination energy and germination. The author shows that the content of essential oil changes during the ontogenesis of plants and growing conditions. The greatest increase in essential oils was noticed during the period of mass flowering; then, there is a decrease. The maximum amount of essential oils was found in inflorescences (0.4-2.1%), in the leaves (0.2-0.9%), and the smallest in the stems (0.05-0.1%). The forms and varieties of basil with a purple color are distinguished by a relatively high content of essential oil.

The new model should, even more, ease the work of people, increase the degree of automation, increase the efficiency of decisions made, reduce the resources consumed, and bring new products to the market. However, the new model leads to further problems and conflicts of interest with hi-tech companies. The analysis of the conflict situation is carried out in this work using the structural-dynamic analysis used in modern conflictology. This type of analysis is intended to identify conflicting systems and conflicting elements. Based on the results of the analysis, the author determined the initial presence of conflict in the system, which, in the future, without taking proactive measures, can lead to grave consequences. To resolve the conflict situation and eliminate the contradiction, she proposes to introduce an additional participant into the system, the one who will have to resolve the conflict and take on some of the risks. It is also proposed to continue improving the technologies of the existing model of production organization, to collect and analyze information on the implementation of Agriculture 4.0 in pioneering countries, so that, based on their experience, to introduce new technologies in domestic agriculture in order to reduce risks and other possible negative consequences for society, the economy, and the environment.
