The article describes the characteristics of obtaining high-quality food in the conditions of negative anthropogenic impact on the environment in the process of agricultural production based on the greening of agricultural systems. The largest percentage of the land use structure of enterprises in the Kamensky district of Rostov Oblast is occupied by agricultural land. Its portion in "Vozrozhdenie" LLC amounts to 97.39%, and in "Stanichnik" LLC it is 94.88%. The crop production is carried out mainly on arable land and takes up to 84.05-89.43%. To determine the soil fertility, it is important to study its composition, acidity, water and oxygen ratio, and evaluate the intensive technology of growing crops. The anthropogenic load score in "Vozrozhdenie" LLC and "Stanichnik" LLC is 4, which indicates a significant degree of the load. The state of soils is characterized by an ecological and geochemical assessment using the concentration ratio relative to the intensity of the anthropogenic anomaly background. The chemical contamination index is 45 mg/kg, which constitutes as a dangerous level of chemical soil contamination. Determination of the ecological and energy efficiency of the green agricultural production of the enterprises in the Kamensky district of Rostov Oblast is associated with the economic mechanism of environmental management, which combines rational expediency and environmental safety of agricultural production.
