AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF KHABAROVSK KRAI IN MODERN ECONOMIC CONDITIONS

Russian. The article examines the current state of the agricultural sector in Khabarovsk Krai. Land reforms have not led to improved land use in the region, some farmland remains undeveloped, abandoned, requiring improvement. The Khabarovsk Krai is located in the high-risk agriculture zone, and its crop losses have been as high as 50%. At the same time, all 17 municipal districts of the region are involved in agricultural production. The transformation of land relations in the country has only affected the dynamics of the structure of agricultural production and aggravated the situation in the area of land protection. In the course of the work it was established that the level of ploughness in Khabarovsk Krai in 2021 was only 56.3%, and the availability of cultivated areas had decreased by 16% in a year. At the same time, the level of urbanization is high enough, which means there is a consumer market in the region, as well as free land resources.
