ANIMAL BRUCELLOSIS IN THE ROSTOV OBLAST

Russian. The article presents an analysis of the epizootic situation of animal brucellosis in the Rostov Oblast for the period from 2019 to 2022. A total of 3182636 immunological tests for brucellosis were carried out during the analyzed period, with 1494 positives detected, which amounted to 0.05% of the total number of tested animals. It was established that during the analyzed period brucellosis was registered in cattle, small ruminants, horses and dogs. The highest incidence of brucellosis was recorded in dogs - 0.93%. The second-highest incidence of brucellosis in horses was 0.17%. Among cattle, the incidence of brucellosis was 0.07%. The lowest incidence of brucellosis was registered among small ruminants - 0.004%. The disease was not detected in other animal species.
