Chemical additives such as oxalic acid and amber acid have been used to increase the moisture resistance and durability of gypsum adhesives. The effect of chemical additives on the conversion of gypsum stone to gypsum adhesive was studied. It was found that the chemical additives were partially plastered with gypsum It is known that in the process of hydrothermal treatment, the adhesive obtained during the transition of gypsum stone to ɑ-semihydrate gypsum becomes the pearl and does not require theoretical grinding of gypsum by this technology. However, experience shows that gypsum adhesives are trimmed during the technological process, and the ɑ-semihydrate gypsum crystals adhere to each other, resulting in additional grinding of the adhesive. This leads to the disruption of the crystals of gypsum in the ɑ-semihydrate gypsum, reducing the adhesive strength. In the presented research, it was proposed to eliminate this deficiency by adding organic acids. At the same time, the effect of ultradispers metacaolin addition on the properties of α-semi-aqueous gypsum was studied, and it was found that the water resistance of the adhesive was significantly increased when the ultradispers metacaolin additive was used with a small amount of lime.
