Twenty six cases of nephrosplenic entrapment are reported in the study. The authors describe the pathology and the measurement of gravity index and a shock index. Two treatments are performed either a surgical correction by laparotomy, or a rolling procedure on general anaesthetised horses. This retrospective study allows us to define objective clinical parameters in the aim to choose the optimal therapeutic attitude.
