Histopathological Effects in the Common Carp Cyprinus carpio Experimentaliy Infected with Saprolegnia sp التاثيرات المرضية النسيجية لأسماك الكارب الاعتيادي Cyprinus carpio تحت الإصابة المختبرية بالفطرSaprolegnia sp.

Histopathological effects in gills and liver of the common carp Cyprinus carpio were studied after a period of 18 and 25 days of artificial exposure to the fungus Saprolegnia sp. A total of 200 female fish samples were involved in the laboratory experiments during the period from November 2005 till February 2006. Fish samples were obtained from fish ponds of Basrah University. Cutaneous ulcers were observed on fish skin with hemorrhage. The infected fishes suffered from loss appetite, abnormal swimming, loss of balance and an increased opercula breathing rate with the mouth wide opened after 25 days of infection. Histopathological changes in the infected gills were hyperplasia of respiratory epithelium and chloride cell and vascular congestion with damage in the secondary gill lamella (18 days of infection). After 25 days of infection sever histopathological effects were noticed, i.e. hyperplasia, hypertrophy, fusion of gill lamella, total degeneration of other lamellae, sever hemorrhage and vascular congestion, this lead to loss of the normal shape of gill lamellae. Pathogenic changes in the liver of infected fishes were dissociation of hepatic cards, damage of sinusoids and cellular and vascular congestion (after 18 days of infection). The pathological changes in fish liver after 25 days of infection were focal necroses of many liver cells resulting in complete loss of normal cell shape, and disruption of hepatic architect. درست التأثيرات المرضية النسيجية الحاصلة في خياشيم وكبد أسماك الكارب الاعتيادي والمصابة مختبرياً بالفطر Saprolegnia sp. . استخدمت 200 سمكة من الإناث فقط من مزرعة أسماك جامعة البصرة للفترة الممتدة من نوفمبر 2005م إلى فبراير 2006م. ظهرت تغيرات مرضية عيانية واضحة في الأسماك التي تعرضت للإصابة بالفطر بعد 18 يوماً من بدء إجراء الإصابة المختبرية، وازدادت شدتها حتى نهاية التجربة (25 يوماً)، لوحظ على الأسماك قرح جلدية، واحمرار المنطقة المجاورة بسبب النزف، كما لوحظ فقدان الأسماك المصابة للشهية، وحركة سباحة غير عادية، تمثلت بعدم الاستقرار، والحركة السريعة للغطاء الخيشومي، فضلاً عن فقدان التوازن، وصعوبة التنفس بعد 25 يوماً من التعرض للإصابة. أظهرت الخياشيم المصابة بالفطر تغيرات نسيجية مرضية زادت حدتها مع زيادة مدة التعرض للإصابة. فقد لوحظ بعد 18 يوماً فرط التنسج Hyperplasia بالطلائية التنفسية وخلايا الكلوريد، واحتقان الأوعية الدموية مع وجود نخر في الصفائح الخيشومية الثانويــة. فيما يخص الأسماك المصابة بعد مرور 25 يوماً، فقد لوحظ فرط التنسج والاندماج في الصفائح الخيشومية، والتنكس والنخر مع النزف الشديد، واحتقان الأوعية الدموية، مما أدى إلى فقدان الشكل النظامي للصفائح الخيشومية الثانوية وتضخمها ((Hypertrophy. ظهرت على البرنشيمة الكبدية للأسماك المصابة تغيرات مرضية بعد الإصابة، تمثلت التغيرات بعد مرور18 يوماً بحالات تفكك بصفائح الخلايا، وتحلل البعض منها، وتحطم بالجيوب الدموية الكبدية، وتجمع للخلايا الالتهابية واحتقان الأوعية الدموية. أما التغيرات بعد 25 يوماً فقد أظهرت حالات تنكس ونخر نسيجي للعديد من الخلايا الكبدية، مسببا فقدان الشكل السوي للبرنشيمة الكبدية.
