Form and function in the grass cutter, thryonomys swinderlanus temm. (rodentia, thryonomyidae)
1969
Ewer, R.F., Department of Zoology, University of Ghana, Legon.
The primary feeding adaptations, both structural and behavioural, of Thryonomys swinderianus are described. It is then shown how a number of other characteristics of structure and of behaviour can best be understood in relation to these primary adaptations. Some data on breeding biology and on feeding are given as appendices.
