Development of micronutrient fertilizer: its effect on Chinese cabbage

An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of a newly developed micronutrient fertilizer made of local mineral ores by the molten process. With the application of micronutrient fertilizer, the yield of Chinese cabbage was increased by about 30 to 40 percent compared to control. Boron uptake by plants was remarkably increased in micronutrient fertilizer treatment, but the uptake of the others was not significant
