The fecundity of 'ikan sebarau' Hampala macrolepidota (Van Hasselt), a local carp, ranged from 7,132 to 62,031 eggs for fish measuring from 205 mm to 375 mm in total length. The relationship between fecundity (F) and total length (L) was found to be F=0.0159L 2.63 with a coefficient correlation of 0.760
