Lantican, M.A.
Findings revealed that the overall repayment performance was generally low; average repayment was 1.65%. Mean per capita income per year was P1995.40 before loans were extended and P1832.40 after. Mean per capita expenditure was P1387.97 (before) and P2285.00 (after). About 95.93% borrowed from the bank only once; the majority of the respondents did not understand the contract because it was written in English. The majority showed positive reaction towards credit. Repayment performance was found positively correlated with household size, income, credit, experience, attitude towards credit and technicians. Attitude towards credit was negatively correlated with credit experience; attitude towards technicians was found positively correlated with membership in organization and credit experience. Perception of the effect of credit was found positively correlated with income and expenditure, but negatively correlated with membership in organization
