Filon, V.I. (V.V. Dokuchayev Kharkiv State Agricultural Univ. (Ukraine))
A new approach to studying the effect of fertilizers on the mobility of the soil organic matter is proposed and results of the study carried out by using this method are considered. The types and forms of the fertilizers are revealed to have different effect on soil organic matter. Nitrogenous and compound fertilizers are found to be more reactive. Phosphorous fertilizers were the second by the degree of action. Peptization ability of the fertilizer depends not only on a nutritive element but on an accompanying ion. It may be regulated by supplementing coagulative additives. The availability of the various forms of the inorganic fertilizers makes it possible to control the soil humus condition
