English. Given are results of assessing the quality of meat of swines of the Myrhorod breed in the dynamics by years witnessing on its high value and stability. Crossing of the swines of the Myrhorod breed with other genotypes, in particular of meat productivity line, does not deteriorate the quality of meat and fatty tissues in the mixed young animals. Creation of new lines and breeds in said breed with the aim of avoiding close breeding can be carried out purposefully by a method of introductory crossing with the further control of indices of productivity and pork quality.
Show more [+] Less [-]Ukrainian. Наведено результати оцінки якості мяса свиней миргородської породи в динаміці років, яка свідчить про його високу цінність і своєрідну стабільність. Схрещування свиней миргородської породи з іншими генотипами, зокрема й мясного напрямупродуктивності, не погіршує якість мязової тканини та салау помісного молодняку. Створення нових ліній та порід у породі з метою уникнення спорідненого розведення можна цілеспрямовано проводити методом ввідного схрещування з подальшим контролем показників продуктивності та якості свинини.
