[Method for entomophilous crops growing]

In Ukraine a method is developed which makes it possible to improve yields of entomophilous crops (sunflower, buckwheat, alfalfa, clover and others) through creation of favourable conditions for accumulation and conservation of wild pollinators colonies and provision of them with forage. For this aim the entomophilous crops are sown in crop rotation as biogeocenosis strips-reserves in form of earth banks at physical maturity of soil. During crop rotation minimal soil treatment and surface improvement of the biogeocenosis strips are carried out, in doing so the entomophilous crops with different time of blossoming are included in the crop rotation. This makes it possible to create a continuously blossoming bee forage for wild bees. The arrangement of biogeocenosis strips in a direction of relief horizontals protects wild pollinators nests from washing away with rains and thawing water. The distance between the strips is 150 m and their width is 7 m. Using these measures it is possible to achieve the increase in yields from 20-25 % (sunflower, buckwheat and other crops) and up to 150-200 % (lucerne, clover and other crops).
