Profitability of garlic-tobacco relay cropping by farmers

Garlic-tobacco relay cropping produced a net income of P31,204; P23,906 from garlic and P7,298 from tobacco. This system is more profitable than planting these crops in monoculture. Garlic produced a net income of P24,000-P26,000/ha and tobacco, P10,000-P16,000/ha.
