Study of bullfrog leg meal as protein source for broiler [Philippines]

One hundred twenty day-old chicks were used in this study to determine the effect of three levels of bullfrog leg meal as substitute for fish meal in a home-mixed ration for broilers. Dietary treatments consisted of varying rations of fish meal to bullfrog leg meal as follows: 11:10, 25:1 and 0:1. Birds fed with fresh meal to bullfrog ratio of 0:1 were significantly heavier than the other birds. These birds also required lowest cost to produce a kilogram gain in weight than the rest of the birds
