Disclosed is a drive mechanism for harvester comprising transmission belt, a drive pulley, an input pulley, and a tension pulley. The input pulley for the drive wheel being a split pulley comprising split portions, resilient means to bias the split portions towards each other and operator means to displace the tension pulley.
