Sphaceloma species inflict damages to their suspects by producing warty outgrowths or scabs on leaves, stems, and fruits. Fruits are usually sold at a discounted price because excrescences mark their outward appearance. This study was conducted to compare in vitro the morphological similarities and differences of the Sphaceloma species. The loculoascomycetous fungi were isolated on glycerine agar using the poured plate technique. Colony and spore characters were studied in parallel cultures on potato dextrose agar under room temperature.
