This research was done through a survey of the Rhopalocera of Mt. Makiling [Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines]. Specifically the study aimed to establish baseline information on the species present in Mt. Makiling. It also addressed the species abundance/scarcity and the effect of temperature, time of day and elevation. Likewise, larval and nectar host plants were observed, collected and identified at the Ethno-Morpho-Systematics Laboratory of the Department of Botany, Institute of Biological Sciences, U.P. Los Banos, College, Laguna, Philippines.
