Adaptation and acceptability evaluation of different pole sitao and bush sitao (Vigna sinensis L.) cultivars in Cagayan [Philippines]

Results showed that among the pole sitao [Vigna sinensis L.] entries, cultivars 89-020 outyielded the rest of the entries and the traditional variety with 9.4 and 14.7 t/ha for wet and dry seasons, respectively. For bush sitao cultivars, CBD 2 and CBD 28-1 obtained the highest yield of 4.1 and 3.5 t/ha during the wet season while CBD 28-1 and CBD 4 got the highest yield during the dry season with 15.0 and 14.6 t/ha, respectively. All of the entries are preferred by the consumers
