BT biopesticide whose ingredient is based on toxin crystal protein (Delta-endotoxin) of Bacillus thuringiensis var. Kustaki 3a, 3b was experimentally produced in 500 1 and 5000 1 fermenters of pilot plant of FIRI [Food Industries Research Inst.]. BT biopesticide was made on liquid formulation and was able to retain its activity when stored at room temperature for 6 months. BT biopesticide of FIRI was effectively applied for lepidopterous larvae control without harmful effect on human, domestic animals and beneficial insects. BT biopesticidal activity killed more than 95% of Plutella xylostella in the field at Taytuu cooperative - Hanoi City, more than 90% to Anomis flava Fab. in the field condition at Lienkhe cooperative-Haihung province, and more than 85% to Helicoverpa armigera and other pests in Ninhthuanm Sonla province. Up to now BT biopesticide of Vietnam was accepted by Vietnamese farmers because its cost is cheap, they used dosage 3-5 liters per ha of crops
