Three new species and five new records of primitive oribatids from the Philippines (Acari: Oribatida)

The three new species of oribatids belonging tp primitive groups are described from the Philippines, namely: Hoplochthonius stylosanthes, Spaerochthonius lipataensis and Mixacarus facundoi. Five previously described species in the genera Ctenacarus, Eniochthonuis, Haplochtnonius, and Trhypochthoniellus are recorded as new to the country. Previous erroneous records of Eohypochthonius gracilis (non Jacot 1936) are corrected as E. crassisetiger Aoki. Descriptions and illustrations are provided for all included species
