Chinese. 在陕西省不同海拔高度地区试种椒样薄荷，研究温度、光照等生态因素对椒样薄荷精油品质和产量的影响。结果表明，陕西省较低纬度（33°～37°）、较高海拔（1 000～1 500 m）地区，如陕北、渭北和秦岭北麓是椒样薄荷的适生区，该区种植的椒样薄荷生产的精油品质达到国际优质标准，产油量平均达93.3 kg/ha。

Peppermint was grown in different elevation areas in Shaanxi, then ecological factors (such as temperature, sunshine, and so on) affecting yield and quality of essential oil of peppermint were studied. The results showed that the regions (such as northern Shaanxi, Weibei and northern Qinling mountain ranges and so on) of lower latitude (33°-37°) and higher elevation (1 000-1 500 m) in Shaanxi were favorable for planting peppermint, the quality of essential oil from peppermint attains international standard of good quality, and the average yield of essential oil from peppermint attains 93.3 kg/hm2. This not only breaks the foreign conclusion that peppermint has to be planted in the regions of higher latitude-over north latitude 41°, but also offers foundation to plant peppermint in our country.
