Chinese.

In order to estimate the drug resistance level and the distribution of resistant isolates of Alternaria solani Sorauer in Shanxi province, the drug resistance was monitored or the rational use of drugs. Fifteen sensitive A.solani isolates from Wuzhai county in Shanxi province were tested. The results showed that the mean of EC50 was 0.52 mg/L and the minimum inhibitory concentration was 5.0 mg/L. The mean of EC50 was taken as the relative sensitive baseline of A.solani to myclobutanil. According to the EC50, the sensitive isolates from Datong, Changzhi, Qixian and Yuncheng were also tested. There were 56.52% sensitive isolates, 40.87% low resistant isolates and 2.61% middle resistant isolates in all. Sensitive and low resistant isolates were predominant isolates. Middle resistant isolates were detected but there were only three isolates. The results showed that the resistance of A.solani to myclobutanil in Shanxi province has not developed severely.
