The effect of fisheries activities on Spiny Lobster resources

The commercial fishing of spiny lobster (Panuliras homarus) has been started ince 1991 in Sistan-o-Baluchestan provincewith an annual catch 20-50 tons. In 1is paper, it has been tried to study the fishing pressure on this resources during years. In this regard, the biometric data of 4 years consist of 1991, 1994, -1996 and 1997 ere collected for further statistical analysis, These data are: total length, total eight, carapace length. sex. maturity stages, fishing season and tishing ground- The nalysis was done hy using Foxpro and SPSS programms. The results of the mean ngtll and mean weight of this species showed a decreasing [rend from starting it should he the rcsulL of overfishing.
