Impact of the Bacterial Inoculation Methods on Nodosity Formation in Alfalfa

They apply nowadays, in the bacterial inoculation technology of legumes aiming at enhancing the capacity of fixing atmospheric nitrogen, several inoculation methods depending o the substrate used, on the nitrogen fixing bacteria multiplication and preservation type. In our research, we present the effect of bacterial inoculation with bacterial strains of Sinorhizobium meliloti on alfalfa, multiplied on the following media: liquid, peat, and granulated. The effect of these media is pointed out based on dry matter, number and weight of nodosities, and nodular index.
