The current research was conducted for identify the indicators of vegetative and central nervous system functional state of skydivers in the competition period, which ensures the achieving the best accuracy landing. The 16 skydivers were surveyed and each sportsmen has made from five to six attempts. Vegetative regulation characteristics of skydivers were examined by method of the spectral analysis of the heat rate variability at rest and during active orthostatic test. Central nervous system indicators were estimated by means of psycho-physiological techniques. It is established that the skydivers have the best accuracy landing when they have the smallest date median of the reaction time estimated by simple visual-motor reaction method and the low-frequency component of the heart rate variability prevailing in rest, therefore, the prediction of the performance must be based on these physiological parameters.
