Morphology and physiology of strains of Sporobolomvces roseus and S. pararoseus isolated from winter wheat seeds was studied. Most of strains S. roseus and all strains of S. pararoseus exhibited a positive starch reaction, and showed a tendency to lose the ability of formation of ballistospores. In some strains of S. pararoseus adaptation to nilratc nitrogen occurred.
