Studies on pathology of silkworm, Bombyx mori during Nosema bombycis infection
2000
LU Xing-meng | WU Zhong-chang
When Nosema bombycis infected silkworm, the activity of midgut trehalase decreased significantly, which is mainly due to formation of large quantities of schizonts. The content of haemolymph sugar and trehalose, which related to energy metabolism also decreased significantly. The activity of haemolymph trehalase increased slightly in infected silkworm, but less influence to the content of haemolymph sugar. The content of haemolymph protein decreased behind to the substances which related to energy metabolism and the amount of storage protein decreased largely with respect to 30 K protein.
