Synthesis and luminescence properties of all-inorganic CsPbX3 perovskite quantum dots

The traditional synthesis method of all-inorganic perovskite quantum dots (QDs) requires inert gas protection, complicated operations, and high instrument cost, an optimized lower temperature method, featured with low-cost, and direct synthesis in the ambient atmosphere was proposed. Multicolored perovskite QDs were synthesized by mixing the precursors at 120 ℃ and transferring them to 90 ℃ for reaction, which covered the whole region of visible light region. Their luminescence properties were characterized by steady-state and time-resolved fluorescence spectrophotometers. Under the excitation of 325 nm light, CsPbBr3 QDs exhibited a narrow emission peak at 517 nm with the full width at half maximum 16.3 nm.PL decay curve of CsPbBr3 QDs can be two-exponent fitted, the average lifetime of 5.77 ns. The CsPbBr3 QDs belong to cubic crystal phaseare, are homogeneous and monodispersed in cube shape, with an average grain size of 9.89 nm. This method provides a new scheme for the synthesis of all-inorganic perovskite QDs.
