Bone tumor are characterized by an aggressive course, early hematogenous metastasis. The incidence of canine osteosarcoma is 80 - 90 % of bone tumors. The main method in diagnosis of osteosarcoma is morphological. Histopathology diagnosis difficult polymorphism microscopic picture of osteosarcoma. The purpose of this study is to investigate the macroscopic and histological structure of the various options for osteosarcoma in dogs. Selected for the study 35 dogs diagnosed with «osteosarcoma of the long bones». Our research confirms that the main morphological feature of osteosarcoma in dogs is the presence of pathological osteoid.
