应用陕甘宁老区气象水文实测记录,通过实地考察和应用统计分析等方法,对陕甘宁老区贫水化过程进行了探讨。研究认为,20世纪90年代是陕甘宁老区贫水化过程最剧烈的时期,生态破坏和生态建设又是导致贫水化的主要因素。生态贫水化是生态需水与生态用水之趋势差。生态贫水化是西部大开发面临的主要环境问题,自然恢复是实现"山川秀美"的主要途径。
