Schnittblumen der Nelkensorte Scania 3C wurden in 5 verschiedenen Knospenstadien geschnitten und bis zum Erreichen der Marktfaehigkeit (Pinselstadium) in Frischhalteloesung bei 25 Grad C, 90-100 % Luftfeuchte und 16 h Tageslaenge gehalten. Schnitt im Stadium fest geschlossene Knospe fuehrte zu deutlich hoeheren Schnittblumenertraegen (Entwicklung weiterer Knospen wird beschleunigt) bei guten Qualitaeten als Schnitt im Pinselstadium
