German. Die Laemmerpreise in der Bundesrepublik (1988) sind hoeher als erwartet (1987 im Jahresmittel 7.26/kg Schlachtgewicht, kalt). Fuer kraeftigere Aufschlaege ist die Wettbewerbskraft preiswerten Fleisches anderer Arten zu gross. Schaffleischlieferungen aus Uebersee beeinflussen die Preisbildung fuer Schlachtlaemmer in Westeuropa in nicht unerheblichem Masse.
